Layout slightly off in netscape 7.0

    Hi,

I'm doing a page in note pad (my first) and it looks fine in IE but when I view it in Netscape's 7.0 browser a part of the page shows up uneven. The position of a border tied to the block element H5 in the markup below changes in netscape 7.0. I was wondering if someone more experienced in web page browser compatability could copy and paste the following markup into note pad (there's no URL yet) and see if they spot the problem. Thank you.

Do you have a link to this page on the web? Sometimes it helps to see what's "off".

There is another forum in here, somewhere, devoted to browser compatability, you may do better there.
Laws are like sausages. You have much more respect for them if you haven't actually seen how they're made.

    PalmerB,

Sorry, I'm doing this page in notepad and do not have it published to the internet yet. But, if you want and if you have notepad, you can copy the markup above and slap it in there and have a look. It should be easy to see what I'm talking about then.

myth, Thanks for the tip. I'll look around the forums.

Have you checked it in Mozilla and Opera. Sorry, it's late and I'm tired from working a 14 hour day or I would look at this more closely. I'll try tomorrow, but I have come to detest NS7 for all of the bloated stuff it loads up. I long for standard compliant browsers and mourn for AOL users!
