    Background and iPhone

    I have a site up and it looks fine on the browsers I want it to look fine on but for some reason, on the iPhone, the background will not take up the entire backdrop. In the vertical position it is about 1/4 and on horizontal it is about 1/2.

    I have tried changing the css to:
    background-position:0 0;
    background-position:top left;
    background-position:50% 0;

    nothing makes a difference.

    Please help.

    Many thanks,

    Try putting this in the <head> section of your pages:

    Code:
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">
    Another thing that might work is this:

    Code:
    .rt-bg2 {min-width: 1000px;}

    The css worked but I also tried this and it worked as well.
    Code:

    .main-bg-purple .rt-bg2 {
        background:url(../images/backgrounds/red/body-background.jpg) top left #6f1426;
    }
    body {
        background:url(../images/backgrounds/red/body-background.jpg) top right #6f1426;
    }
