    NS, O7, and Moz support for background...

    I was wondering if anybody could point me to a tutorial or FAQ on what NS, Opera and Mozilla support in table cells...?

    I'm trying to use background images in individual table cells, but only IE seems to be able to show it correctly.

    The code I'm using is as follows:

    Code:
     	   <td height="25" width="594" background="../fade.jpg">	   </td>

    Very simple, I'm wondering if there is some property I'm forgeting, to make it work with NS, Moz, etc?

    It is preferable to use CSS for table division backgrounds, but don't expect it to work in some of the ancient browsers.

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    td {
    background-image : url("http://www.yoursite.com/yourimage.png");
    }
    -->
    </style>

    If you just want specific cells to be coloured, or have an image background then you may require the class attribute or place a style statement within the specific <td> element, for example: <td style="background-image : url('http://www.yoursite.com/yourimage.png');">

    Sounds good. I'll start writing the Stylesheet.

    Thanks for the tip
