Can anyone tell me how to make shapes in Corel, out of pictures?
For instance make a sillhouette of a person.

use coreltrace maybe? or just manually trace it. better yet, dump corel and do it in photoshop.
Use the program Corel Trace. It is included with the suite. The easiest way is to create a gif with a transparent background, import into Trace and BINGO! you are done.![]()

Trace lets you make a vector image. PS is a rastor program, (mostly).Originally Posted by bbolte

yeah, but i assumed that it was prolly going to end up on a web page. and you can get a vector image out of photoshop by exporting the path to illustrator. imo - corel, run away fast.

or trace it in freehand!
