Chat rooms with transcripts?

Hello Again,

Trying to find a web site which hosts chat rooms for free and offers transcripts??

Anybody know of any sites doing this???

CGIforMe ( http://www.cgiforme.com ) use to offer this but it was "kinda" difficult getting the transcripts and their service has been erratic (IMHO) lately.

Also, interested in free and/or low cost chat programs I would have to install myself and which provide transcripts.

Its not quite ideal, but you could get a channel on IRC, use a web gateway like SPs one at http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/chat.php , and get a bot in there to record all chats.
If you have a permanent net connection its simple to do, and there are people here who are really good at mIRC scripting who can probably help you set one up.
