it would work if you didnt use the blue. Red and Black are good contrasting color.

The purple thrown into the mix also doesnt look very good.

    I like the nav bar.

    Simple design.
Graphics are low and loadtime is good.

There's room for improvement. You can add some graphics, brighten up the page by using lighter colours.

The colors are not easy on eye. Try fainter colors. If I remember my Psych 101 Light Green is the best color to attract people. People get a calming and feel good sensation
when they see light green. Try it it works.

yeah..the blue vertical line is def the wrong colour to use...i suspect more graphic content is also required additionally to the intended header img. Otherwise a nice crisp clean environment.

I have to say that I think home9.htm is pretty bad. You're primarily using dark colors. Having a bright red thing really detracts from the whole feel of the page.

I would stick with the purple you have before... Instead of swapping colors of the bar itself, I would try using white font - in size 1 verdana. The problem I see is that all your fonts are the same - the same size that is - which lends to making the page feel a bit blocky...

I like the nav bar - simple and well organized - just try making that header title bar stand out more - not by color size but by font size. Or try the reverse - keep the header bar the bigger font size and decreasing the font size on the nav bar...

Sidebar looks good but the overall color scheme of the page doesn't. Perhaps try using a white background.
