I redid all the HTML again and eliminated many errors. I havent decided about the graphics yet, but it's still any early stage design. Thanks for all the feedback, although any more is welcome.

I took some new screenshots and replaced the football image. I cut down on loading time significantly. According to Frontpage anyay, it went from 44 seconds on a 28.8 to 24 seconds. I linked some of the pages, although most of the content area will have to be reworked. Anymore thoughts on the layout/color use, or anything else?

    Were at http://www.cisites.com/test
I ran the speed test at Netmechanic.com and they say I load in 10.23 seconds on a 28.8 modem. Much better than the 44 seconds I thought I was at yesterday.

You might want to put the name of your site into the screen shot. That way you could get rid of one of your graphics (ban.gif).

It'll be a good idea to fade your screen shot if you want to try that though.

I actually tried that, but it didn't work to well. What color should I make the text? Black? Because despite a lightened graphic, it still didn't show up very well.

Maybe some really heavy text in white with a black outline?

    1 - you need a logo
2 experiment with some other colors. those just dont seem to work.
3 I could not find content of much of anything anywhere on the site. I suspect this is just a design though.

Besides that, it looks like you have a solid layout and great potential.

I made a update to the nav bar and it looks better, although it slows down load time. However, securing a good banner seems to be my major problem. I think that's really all I'm missing now.

    Looking good.

No suggestions for your banner, but maybe you could make your nav bar headers rounded on both ends, and let it "cross" the border a little from the gray nav bar area into the main white area....hope you know what I'm talking about. Might add more interest.

    hi

the site header looks really clean. really nice.

    on the forum.

center the page. it is to the left on 1024.

    on the press page.

looks like it is padded for 800, i recommend centering. and centering the header.

all the pages are looking good.

Alright, I made a massive redesign- from a coding aspect anyway. I've now included SSI, CSS, and a CGI Poll. 3 things I thought I couldn't do. Anyway, I apperciate some more reviews.

I'm still learning how to customize it, and I think it's great so far. Very easy interface. You can find it at:

Looks like I'm entering the final stretch here. Everything seems to be in working order and coordinated. I'll probaly tear it down and resurface under a more friendly domain along with actual content. Any last minute comments especially concerning the layout, colors, fonts, etc would be greatly apperciated.

And thanks for the help along the way, this turned into one of the longest review threads I've seem in a while.

I think your site is still a little plain for a gaming site. It does load quickly though.

I think once I get some real content and some banner ads it will look more like a real gaming site.
