Lightbulb Form message to include subscribers email address

CODE TO SEND A HIDDEN MESSAGE THAT INCLUDES A NEW SUBSCRIBERS EMAIL ADDRESS
I need to send an e-mail from a form to a mail server subscribing or unsubscribing a new member to an e-mail forum. I have been given instructions as to what needs to be done. I now need to know how it is done.

the mail must be sent to mdaemon@thewebsite.org

    the subject does not matter

the body of the messages must be formatted to include one of these:

    subscribe thelist@thewebsite.org newuser@some.com
    or
    unsubscribe thelist@thewebsite.org newuser@some.com

That is it. In the script I would have to replace the newuser@some.com with the e-mail address of the person from the web site.

    How do I do that?

this is not possible in javascript you would need to use a server side language to send the email. Do you have any server side languages avaliable to you such as php, asp, asp.net?

Well that's a bit of a blow as I have no experience in using those languages.

Doing this is very simple, if you could give an indication of what server side languages you have available to you I could come up with a quick solution, as it is very simple todo

I'm not sure what your are meaning. I can install php on my pc. I just hope I can use it. A lot of these seem to be unix based.

All I need to do is sent an email from a form to a copmpletely seperate site which is processing my info for the forum. I have nothing to do with the mail server.

Can the form not options that insert subscribe or unsubscribe before the email box that has to be typed in by the subscriber?
