I upgraded to ICQ 2000b today and it looks pretty good. A few changes, but still the same old ICQ.

You could always right-click that flower and choose 'floating on' and click on the flower that will pop up than

It's actually getting more and more bloated. Every release has more useless features and is more buggy than before. I do use ICQ a lot, but only becuase so many others do. I think its too sluggish.

I agree. I don't think that I use more than 20% of the features of ICQ.

Still, ICQ is the best IM in my eyes. The other IMs are just oversimplified.

I do think that ICQ is the most powerful IM tool of all, but it has gone too far. It's not hard or anything, just bloated.

I like MSN IM because it does what I want it to do. AIM is too newbiesh for me

Good points. I think ICQ needs to decipher which features are cool and needed and which no one uses and just bloat it. Too bad it is now owned by AOL... when I downloaded 2000b today, it put one of those horrible "Free AOL and Unlimited Internet Access" icons on my deskptop.
