Google Analytics: individual page traffic source confusion
I've been looking at the google analytics stats for a client, and there is a particular page on the site that detailed stats are needed for, so lets call it mysite.com/events/cricket-fest-2013.
It appears that keyword data for google traffic to this page includes traffic that arrived on other pages of the site, and eventually clicked through to this page. E.g. say someone clicked through to the home page from a google search for ant wigs, and then clicked a link to cricket fest 2013, then this keyword (ant wigs) would be included in the report for the cricket fest 2013. Am I correct here?
Yes I have, and there's a list of the keywords there after adding "keyword" as a secondary dimension. But my question is: do these keywords correlate only with traffic that came straight to this page from google, or are visitors who may have reached the site and clicked through to the "cricket fest" page from elsewhere on the site included in the keywords list? That appears to be the case, but I can't find confirmation of this anywhere.
Try In page analytics option for particular page. I think you get solution regarding your problem.
select date, then content option in left sidebar, then select ---> experiment ----> in-page analytics---->select Advanced Segments and see search result for particular keyword.
