If any of you are wanting to visit a page that you should NOT make yours look like, go to http://www.asianamericanartistry.com/cho.html
and read the (6th) sixth paragraph. Just terrible...

Why not put your own site up for review, as is, under the review forum?

jgnunn - I didn't get to hear the midi file, I had some sort of Quicktime error / request

    I think that's first time I've seen a site require a plug-in to play a midi file

Asian American Artistry, has a good layout and is a professionally well done site. Granted the sixth paragraph could be re-written but it doesn't take away from the profile of a great performer.

Your homepage, is a decent personal page but not one that I would visit twice. The only reason is because I don't see a personal need to, its hard to read and any professional site would not put background music on their site let alone not allow the visitor any options to turn it off without ruining the loading of the page (Just press ESC by the way to do this).

The site of Asian American Artistry is in my eyes on the edge between a well designed and poorly designed site. The fact that they even don't use 'border=0' for the images makes it look like one of those questionable sites with questionable content.

BTW I wouldn't be surprised if on the bottom of the page stood 'last updated: 6/1997'...

BoyB, just to let you know, i have a 28.8, and it takes forever for your site to load, you might want to work on your load time a little.

I hate to reiterate what everyone else has said, but I'd like to do so to make another point. There was nothing wrong with the Asian American Artistry site, with the exception of the repetitive "here". Many of today's "new" sites, though, have hyperlinks that are often very vague to the casual websurfer. I don't know that we should criticize too harshly for making links overly obvious.

    Just another opinion...

Well, not that it's exactly on-topic, but I don't like Margaret Cho... Don't really think she's a great performer.

http://www.boyb-online.com/ Is your site boyb. I like the content once I get there, but it takes a little long to get there. To many things to do before it lets me view your page.

Actually that doesn't have too much to do with it - I first saw her act before hearing anything about her liberal views...it made me chuckle a little, but lacked real substance. Just not my type of comedy. She also stunk up the joint (in my opinion) at the Friar's Club Roast of Drew Carey...but that's another story.

No offense taken, by the way. I just don't think that's why.
