    Table border problem

    OK, this is stupid...
    I have a table that contains a very simple calendar
    First row; months 01, 02, 03 ... 12
    Second row; empty cells with border-left: 1px solid #ffffff;
    Result; see attached image

    Problem: sometimes when I click on a month number (to get info for another month), the borders are gone (!)
    If I refresh the page (same month), the borders are back

    Tested in IE6 & Mozilla 1.2

    I can't see your attachement yet. but I have had problems myself with border 1px solid in mozilla/netscape. (never in explorer though).

    when I scroll, and some of the border gets "outside of the window", and I scroll back, peaces of the border are gone! And comes back when I refresh...

    a "bad" way to fix this, is to have the bordercolor as backgroundcolor for the table, backgroundcolor in the cells (the one you use. and have cellspacing=1 on your table... then the tablebackground will appear as borders around the cells.

    The problem in this case is that it's only the left border I want, therefore I think using the bgcolor/cellspacing "trick" will only cause more troubles

    And... no, I can't replace the table/calendar with an image (that's the current version btw), because the style of the month numbers should change depending on which month is selected, and I don't want to swap between 12 different images...

    If you're accomplishing this with JavaScript, you may have to re-apply class names to the table cells.

    Nope, the bottom cell's classnames are (kind of) static (actually use php to print out 12 <td>s)

    Guess what?
    I added a &amp;nbsp; to the "empty" cell, and now the border problem is solved

    I told you this was stupid...
