Importing because it's a multinational company that "ships" (import/export) insects. The import is one leap, the ant is another. Still a great riddle though. I think I'm on 1.8 too...

    Now 1.8 is getting me.
I have 4 of the numbers for sure, 5 possibly.
I might as well just brute force the total, yuk.
    The last sequence is getting me: 43, 45, 65, 97, ??
    43 & 97 are primes. weird.

I had to brute force both 1.7 and 1.8 within the vague areas that my answers indicated.

    1.7 'tween 24750 - 24800
    1.8 'tween 250 - 300

    helpful huh

I figured the guy doing the quiz is from Norway.

I could run up a cheat sheet where people could enter hints and/or answers, might get us all working on the same number question.
We gotta get further than 1.25 at least.
teckis - that's news to me.

I added a few people to MSN (maybe not your IM of choice, 'tis mine though) in an endeavour to get further.

Anyone can add me if they want help (as far as 1.12 anyway) with the address
my screen name here (ie poot.....) @hotmail.com
teckis - that's news to me.

(Number of Magnificent AND the number of the famous ones as well)
Magnificent 7 (great classic western), don't know the famous part.

    (How many brothers for brides?)
7 Brides for 7 Brothers (another 50's era western). Don't know if this means eneter 7 or 14, I suspect 7.

    (RIP race)
Death Race 2000, good old shlock with David Carradine (as Frankenstein) and Sly Stallone (as a pansy cowboy I think)

    (Vicious circle)
    I think this is 0.

I had to get the final answer from another source on this one. But the web site does say you should get answers any way you can.

I've gotten through most of these on my own or with Mike's help. A few we've looked around for though. We got through this last night, but I left the answer at home
