Hello i am trying to do an include inside a table. I can sucessfully include a line from my include file that is echoed by PHP.

What I am trying to do is I have a navigation bar that has a number of tables and I want to include it in a table on each one of my pages. The navbar.inc is straight html with no PHP.

I know that I am doing the include correct because like I have said I have tried it with a test include file that echo's out this is a test and it gets populated inside my table. how ever when i try to use my navbar.inc in the include statment I get a Warning: Failed opening '/include/navbar.htm' for inclusion in ... on line 16

Can anyone help with this or cannot PHP include a regular html file?

Well you said your file was called navbar.inc
On line 16 you have navbar.html change it to navbar.inc
Warning: Failed opening '/include/navbar.htm' for inclusion
Please don't PM me with questions.
