Check to see if users have popups allowed or not
Here's a way to detect if popups are disabled or not for your visitors. Use responsibly!

Mozilla doesn't disable popups that are a result of user action (i.e. clicking on a link). Moz's pop-up blocker just disables them in the onLoad/onUnload events, as well as if the popup is part of a setTimeout or setInterval function.[/list=1]
Honestly though, I can't stand ads that pop up on me. When I surf with Moz I don't turn banner ads off, only pop-ups. Banner ads are not so distracting to me and I understand that most people pay the bills with some of that ad revenue; I'm respectful of that and keep the ads turned on.
