I am dreaadfully allergic to cats and dogs. AT the moment I have an aquarium about 4 feet long that houses between 25-35 fish, depending on the season! I have named some of my bigger fish but it is hard with so many.
They are called
Mara
Ben (Obi-Wan)
Jaina
Jason
...and so forth (As you you can tell I am a Star Wars fan)
When I was younger I had a bird for 10 years named Pepito and a newt that was called Paul.
I really want to get a Myna bird but I go away quite often and it would be mean to leave it in its cage for 2-4 weeks at a go. At least fish sort of look after themselves.

Since I asked the question, I'll answer it
Three cats:
Tigerlilly, Trouble-Child, and Artemis
Two dogs:
Troubles and Bandit
At one time I also had dogs named Chaos and Havoc, so you can see, every dog I've owned has been into mischief

We have a dog named Marcy (named after me
). She's a two-year-old Golden Retriever.
We used to have a gerbil, but we had problems with it and we let it go out in a field. I wander how long it survived in the wild, hehe. The gerbil, named Joey, would viciously try to bite your finger off if you tried to even put it near the cage. *sigh*
I would like to get a little hampster, though - but don't know if it will happen.

I've got 7 siblings of one sort or another - does that count?
Basically we've got a Rabbit at one house named "Binky" (dumb, I know)...and a brown Siamese cat named "Hershey" - which I think is the best name for a brown cat that can possibly exist.

Uh...I hope not. But you never know...he could just be playing dumb (and yes, he is definetly dumb...even for a Rabbit).
Everyone else likes the name Binky...except for me. We had two pets...Binky, the smaller rabbitt, and Bubba, the big one. Bubba died - death unknown...some people think I forgot to feed him, but I think there's a pretty good chance it was the odd weather at the time (he lived outdoors at the time). I guess I'll never know.

When my mom was young her parents ate her rabbit for dinner and told her it died. Maybe that's what happened.

LOL...that's, uh, weird.
When my dad was about 19 he was in some small survival course for a day or so...he had to kill a rabbitt. He caught it in a rabbitt trap, swung it around and smashed its head...he said he thinks it lived through that, so he killed it quickly after that.
He also said it bothered him that he didn't kill it the first time...my family just brings death to everything I suppose.

We got more rabbits, my brothers forgave me and all was well. Then one of our dogs got into the barn... She barked and yipped at our 4 new rabbits. Everyone of them died of fright.
We didn't get new rabbits this time.
While growing up we had on our farm:
- 21 Adult Dogs (I can't remember all their names but some are: Loki, Chantilly, Nykeema, Mariah, Crystal, Lucky, Misty and Sydney.). My Mother bred Siberian Huskies, this meant 4-6 litters per year of up to 8 puppies.
- 5 cats: Cinnamon, Cocoa, Sparky, Sylvester, Nermal.
- 1 Lizard. Mr. Spriggs. (He was on the house when we moved in and never left. He was still there when we moved).
- 2 Horses (Echo and Unicorn)
- 4 Sheep (Joker, Ewe, Ms. Peabody, Helen)
- A pigmy goat named Jelly Bean that liked to sit on the couch and eat popcorn.
- Various chickens, ducks and geese with names like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Barbara Streisand, Donald Duck etc...
- Cockatoo named Cockatoo
- Amazon Blue Front Parrot named Surly
- Myna Bird named Charlie.
Every year we also had lambs, a pig and one calf. These weren't pets though and we always named them things like Lambchop, Hamburger and Porkchops. My mother said this was so we didn't get attached to them.

We once had some gerbils and forgot to feed them when we went away for the weekend and they ate each other.

5 Dogs
Shelcie (Miniature Collie)
Mandy (Miniature Collie)
Rico (pomeranian) sp?
TJ (mix) of what I don't know
Mookie (Chow)
1 Cat (although my mom feeds 3 strays outside)
Shana
4 Parakeets (birds)
My family may have named them, but I'm clueless
1 Ball Python (snake)
Never named it. Didn't see the point in naming an animal that doesn't respond to it.
