Nope. Can't say I have. Maybe OTHER people thought they were funny but not me. Then again, as long as you can laugh at yourself you'll always be amused.
ARGH!! things happens to me all the time, but none of them are funny...
Like me loosing all of my MP3s and lots of other data...
Anyone knows of a good tapedrive that he/she recommends?

Well when I first saw this post I didn't think i was going to reply. About 20 minutes ago (I needed time to recover) I had just spent an hour working on some boring stuff, I was about finished so I thought I better save it. Before I clicked on tge file menu I got "This Programme has performed an illegal operation blah blah blah" I said a few more words than ahhhhhhhhhhh. Yes I know I should have saved it sooner, so DONT bother posting that. The sight of a computer going out the window is quite funny
. I can't say that it was funny at the same time though. I had planns to upgrade to Windows 2000 and now I think I might bring the plans forward, plus Linux will come on for extra stability

I was writing about a 20 line topic to post on SitePoint..and I hit the Clear Fields button by mistake
Well one time I backed up files from my primary hard drive to a backup hard drive before I formatted the drive. Well I accidentially formatted both the backup and the main HD at the same time! EVERYTHING...MP3's...Linux...BeOS...Windows...documents...school reports...websites...pictures...notes...etc was deleted. I let out a tear...
I did have my sites on the Internet, but everything else was never recovered.That has happened to me many times.Originally posted by mkaufman

A tip: select your post while typing several times and press CTRL+c so that you've a backup stored in memory.

I lost a couple hundred MP3s that I had painfully downloaded on a 26.4 connection. Also, as I said before, BeOS, 2 distributions of Linux, various documents and reports, websites, pics, E-Mail, etc.
I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally hit the ESC key in the middle of a long post. Poof. All gone. No Undo key. Nothing. I've learned to preview every so often. It works kind of like a save.

To me this is the ultimate arragghhh! thing. Ok, one of my other hobbies besides web design is flying R/C planes. So our club has a paved runway and a HUGE grass field. While we were getting ready to put down more sod(grass)we picked up all the rocks and put them I a big pile. It was like 6 feet high.
Well to make a long story short I was flying my brand new plane and I happened to lose radio control. Out of that hole field take a guess at where it crashed? Right on the pile of rocks. We spent half an hour looking for the nose of the plane till we noticed that it was spred over a fifty foot area! That cost $200 to repair the engine, the plane was totaled, $150 for a new kit, two of the servos were broken and the fuel spilt all over the reciever, $300, and have a year of working 3 hours a day down the drain.

That was a "aaarrgghhh!" day.

I have always wanted to fly a r/c plane. THat would be so fun.
That sucks so bad though. at school once there was a huge r/c plane crashed and stuck in a tree.
anyways, hopefully someday i will get to fly one...
What goes up, must come down...
Seriously, that's one of the reasons I haven't bought a r/c plane yet. I'll just stick to my kite

AARRRGGGHHH!!
For me is when I am downloading a large file, let's say 50mb and it suddenly stops at 99%.. I know that there are programs for that, but sometimes you don't think about it. Or when you download a zip file and try to extract it and pop's up a mesage saying the file is invalid or something like that, it can really make me angry and I usually don't try to download it after.
