I have been wondering this for some time now ...

Certain (especially free stuff) sites completely exist of links that they get paid for ... but there is a new trend, and that's that they do not want to let the visitor see they are checking out a sponsored link, but making a Javascript thingie override the original URL displayed in the statusbar, making http://www.cyberbounty.com/blah/blah http://www.dell.com/contest, and http://www.clickxchange.com/23283213/blah something like military.com/tshirt.

Is this fair? I don't think it is, it is pretty much betraying your visitors thru a javascript thingie. But is it legal to do? I mean, they tell you stuff that's not true ... just wondering!

Thanks and have a great day!
