When I first got on AOL (shudder) I used the nickname 'kidjustino' because I was a kid (11 at the time) and my Latin name (I think) is Justino. Hence, 'kidjustino'. I now use just some variation of my name, whether it be 'jstayton,' 'Justin S,' 'Justin Stayton,' or 'JMS'.

I know my nickname is commonly used but mine's is the most original

DIMA stands for: >Digital Maverick< and is s nickname I used some time ago. I soon realized that this name is just too long so I shortened it down to DIMA

My previous nickname was Tofu. Yeah, like the food.
Shin means "God/Spirit/Divine", and Ma means exactly the invert things: "Devil/Evil spirit/Demoniac".
But since japanese is a very flexible language, you can give many meanings to my nickname before you even have a glimpse of its actual meaning, if i don't tell you
(someone once told me it meaned "sexual horse" for him...)

If you write out the Kanjis I may guess the exact meaning
BTW, japanese is a very popular language and I spent some years ( 6) in Japan!

This is interesting, I was thinking about making this thread a couple of weeks ago...and here it is. I find it most interesting how and why some people come up with their names.
I use HotDog 'cuz I use Sausage's HOTDOG html editor. I am very anti FrontPage2000 (or any other WYSIWYG editor). When I first got into HTML some odd years ago, I got Hotdog Pro 3.0 as my first editor. And you could say it changed my life. (As some of you may know, I'm a former male nurse. I hated it. The pay suxed and I don't get off on cleaning poopy butts all day long.) I now program for a major health care insurance company as their webmaster, http://www.p5ehs.com, and I love it.
