    Hi,

I just uploaded an article to Web-Master.TV that briefly explains how you can drive traffic to your site from appropriate USEnet postings. Please let me know what you think of the advice given -- is it too short? too obvious? Thanks.

The site for webmasters is here.

Note to Admin: I didn't know where else to place such a post. This seems like the best category.

I think it is pretty straightforward for the most part, but you should go into more detail about getting started in Newsgroups.

It could be a little longer...but it's great.

I think you need a lot more detail and explain, also give examples.

I'm going to chime in with the majority here. Your article's too short, and doesn't provide enough guidance.
You want to make it more clear what SPAM is, and make the point clearly that the signature is the place to promote your site, for the most part.

As long as you make a contribution to the discussion, and don't use it for advertisements, you'll always be welcome in any Usenet forum. The difficult part anymore is finding newsgroups that aren't full of SPAM. :-)

I've got a couple relevant articles on my site that might be useful (or useless!) to you. One is about Netiquette, and the other is about using discussion groups for promotion.
