    Browser support

    G'Day Gang,
I have spent some time getting the html in a perl cgi script looking really good using css. The question is how do the current crop of browsers stack up when they look at css? I am using Mozilla and Red Hat Linux 8.0 which works fine but I'm not sure how the others will perform.

    TIA
    Kind Regards
    Dennis

At the moment, Mozilla is the most standards-compliant browser out. Opera and IE are not too far behind though. If you stick to basic CSS (fonts, colors, etc.) and box model stuff (border, margin, padding, positioning, etc.) you should be fine. If you want to play with CSS2, be sure your site doesn't depend on it, as IE still doesn't support CSS2 yet, at least as much as Opera and Mozilla.
