Do relevant links have to be relevant to the page content or the page keywords itself
Say I have my website, Pixeleague. Now lets say on this website I have a page that speaks about internet filters. I have another website that speaks about internet filters too and I link from the latter to the former. This would be considered a good link because it is relevant.
What happens if the keywords in the anchor tag is for a different topic? So I write something like Pixeleague is a web design company and they have a post on internet filtering. So the keywords are not relevant but the pages are. Would Google still count the link with its keywords relevant and add weight to my website for those keywords?
