What can you do to stop phpbb forums from keep adding the http part to website address's please?
If it doesn't start with http then it isn't a web address ... can you give any more detail of what you mean?Originally Posted by Dez

It's when you type in the website address www.anyoldwebsiteaddress.com and somehow it changes to http.www.anyoldwebsiteaddress.com - how is that stopped please?

I think it has to do with the way that forum codes things, probably in their .htaccess if not in their php backend. That forum is the best place to get your question answered. Have you asked their support why they do it and how and if it can be changed?
