    Validation making no sense

    I tried validation of my CSS document and the W3 spewed out errors for each of my a.black definitions.

    Line: 88 Context : a.black
    Invalid number : font-weightattempt to find a semi-colon before the property name. add it
    Here is the code for that error:

    Code:
    a.black {
    	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: xx-small;
    	color: #000066;
             font-weight: normal
    	text-decoration: none;
    Any ideas?

    Cheers

    Dan

    Ok... Don't laugh at me if I'm getting it totally wrong, but shouldn't there be a semicolon after "normal" in your font-weight?

    Um...
    Code:
    a.black {
    	font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    	font-size: xx-small;
    	color: #000066;
             font-weight: normal;
    	text-decoration: none;
    }
    or am I missing something?

    Jeez! You have NO idea how long I have been looking at that and missing it. Even the error told me what it was. How on earth did I manage to convince myself it was there?

    Cheers guys

    lol

    You have NO idea how many times I've done that! Looking over my code again and again before I find out I'm missing a ; or a ' or a : or a " or whatever...

    Same here. It's even worse with stuff that gives cryptic errors like PHP parse errors and expat's "tag not well-formed:invalid token".
