    bullets ?

    hello.

    when you create a list it automatically becomes indented. how can i avoid this? or change it? is there a way of doing it with css?

    thanks!

    Hi,

    Try the padding or margin property.
    Code:
    li {
    margin-left: 0px;
    }
    // or
    li {
    padding-left: 0px;}
    I'm not sure wich one that will work.

    http://www.epples.ca/weblakes/product_template.html

    the little product menu under the software title.
    see how it has the big indent on the left side of the bullets.

    yeh - i don't really like that

    Hi,
    You could try to apply the setting to UL instead og LI. I don't know if it makes a difference.

    I checked the w3 refrence and the only thing I found was list-style: http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS1#list-style
    Code:
    UL {
        list-style: outside
    }
    If this isn't working then I'm out of ideas. Sorry.

    Hopfully one of the gurus will stop by then

    Code:
    ul {
      margin-left: 0px;
    }
    Does the trick for me.

    Here's a cool article on making lists do what you want:

    I've been using their CSS2 techniques to come up with custom bullets.
