So... what's the worst thing you ever forgot? Your first date? tying your shoelaces?

The first year I was married (4 1/2 years ago) I looked at the calander and my wife's b-day was on Friday the 4th. So I planned all kinds of stuff to do on that day. Well, about 1 or 2 days b4 her b-day we were over at my brother and sister-in-laws house for supper and the question was brought up what were we going to do for her b-day on Friday. I went into a speel of what I had planned, being carefull not to reveal too much. After I was finished, my wife looked up from her plate and said, "it was today."
I looked at the wrong month (the month b4) and had the day wrong. Yes it was on the 4th, but I had accidently looked at the wrong month on the calander. OOPS
And yes...I still get crap from it.
No...I have never gotten it wrong again.Joe Eliason

I forget things all the time...not sure what the most important ever was...havn't had the opportunity to forget anything truly important...
...perhaps just forgetting I had tickets to a baseball game until I'd been sitting home watching it on TV for about 15 minutes! Pretty dumb, huh?

Aww man that is just wow... I know how embarrassed you could have been. I've had similar things but I try to block those things so I can't remember.

I once forgot to wear my clothes to school. Luckily it was in a dream so nobody really cared all that much.

A lot of people have that dream, including me. I see it on TV too... thank goodness they are cartoons!

Yeah, I know some other people that have had that dream. Then there are the ones who do it in real life, though they don't exactly "forget" their clothes, they just decide to go streak everybody.

It's not exaclty forgetting, but I was certainly busted...
I'd written down in my diary my girlfriend's birthday, Oct 21. Just flicking through it the other day to see what awaited me in the near future I came across the weekend of Oct 21, with someone (hmm, I wonder who...) having crossed out Oct 21 and written "Which Susi is this then? Huh? I'm on the 22nd!". AARGH!

This didn't happen to me, but I was there. We were in Denver for my moms business meeting; and we went out to eat with one of the people on my moms board and her boyfriend. We all got in the car, and she introducted us..."This is Polly, Jay and John (me, my mom and dad); and this is milton... ...davis" and milton goes "davis?" and she hits her head and sits there for a couple of minutes and finally says..."Milton dixon. dixon. I'm sorry." So we kept teasing her about it for the rest of the night.
I, on the other hand, forget almost everything. I do my homework, then almost always I forget it at home. The dumbest thing I do is when I start stories and then don't finish them because I don't remeber exactly what I was going to say. That happens to me 2 or 3 times a day. yeah - so I don't remeber exactly what I was going to say to finish this, so I'll just leave it at that.
