    htaccess Block specific iOS Version?

Our server has been getting hammered and consequently locked by our host due to the iOS 6.0.0 bug which causes an audio stream to download over and over while the stream is playing. Is this the proper format to block specifically iOS 6.0?

    swiz,

I am not familiar with the iOS User Agent String but I'm sure that you don't need the ^.* before the AppleCoreMedia\ 6_0 nor the space and .*$ at the end of your string to match. However, I believe that this will also preclude any access by iOS 6 and I'm not sure that there is any way to check that the request is a repeat (unless you check for a specific file rather that the EVERYTHING atom).

    Regards,
