    drop down menus in database

    Basically i want to have a drop down menu with 4 choises and when the form is submited to have the selected choise stored in the database.
    i'm using kevin yank's article on how to make a login script. i know how to make a drop down menu and i know how to add a textbox to database, just don't know how to do it with drop down menu's.

    It might be easier than you think... It is the same as a check box. You just give it a name and values. What ever the value is selected when submited will be added.

    Is this what you are asking?

    <select name="your_name">

    <option value= "value_one">one</option>
    <option value= "value_two">two</option>
    <option value= "value_three">three</option>

    </select>
