    Need HELP WITH NEW CLIENT PROJECT!!

    HI everyone! im new to these boards but am going to jump right in and ask for your help!

    A new client of mine would like me to basically DUPLICATE blockbuster's site -- he likes the style and wants all his information to look like that. (www.blockbuster.com)
    Now, i am new to CSS, but have basic html knowledge and i said yes, of course i can do it.....i know, i know BUT i need the money!!

    i know blockbuster used CSS/HTML but im not sure exactly how...

    if someone can explain it to me (like a noob)i would really appreciate it.
    im wondering if it was all done with tables?
    for the most part, the client just likes the wide white lanes on the sides, seperate boxes for his 11 or so links, and a place for a logo and banner on top.

    thx so much in advance everyone!

    Does your client have no imagination?

    You could always look at the source code and download the CSS file and change a few colors to protect the innocent.

    It is done with tables, incidentally.

    in the head you will see:

    <title>Welcome To Blockbuster</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/bb/stylesheet">

    put the href of the css

    href="/bb/stylesheet"

    onto the end of the url and you get:

    http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/stylesheet

    which is where the style sheet is.

    I'd highly advise you (and your client) NOT to replicate Blockbuster's site. If Blockbuster ever finds out they can sue your client, and you don't want that getting back to you in any way (which you may or may not be liable for since you DID make the site for him).
