Just my quirky home page.. give it a review and let me know what you think, please. Include information like what OS, browser, screen resolution size, and connection speed you're using, if you're javascript capable (no javascript here, but I'm curious because I plan to eventually), frames capable, and then what you think of it, of course.

Thanks a lot!

I don't have much to say about your content. It's not anything I'm interested in. But, my website content would probably be of no interest to you, so don't take that the wrong way.
I thought the design as nice. This is a very good personal page. What I mean by that is it feels very personal. You did a great job!
OS: Windows 98
browser: IE 5.5
screen resolution: 1024x768
connection: DSL at work and cable at home
javascript capable
frames capable and I like them
Good luck!

OS: Win98
Browser: IE5.5
ScreenRes: 1024x768 on a 17" monitor (but I almost never view the web full-screen)
Connection: DSL 144
Javascript: yes
Frames: yes (but I hate them)
First page: looks good. Readable. When I see things underlined on the web, though, I expect them to be clickable. If it were my page, I would make the title and the photo into links as well as the "glimmer of light" line.
Main page: frames appear with both horizontal and vertical scroll bars. Have to maximize my browser window to get rid of them. Have I mentioned that I hate frames?
Navigation: nice and consistent throughout the site. Easy to use. Different colors used for text elements in the nav bar frame might confuse a totally novice user, but not a big deal.
Content: plenty of it. That's good.
That's all I can think of at the moment...

Speaking on strictly design, it's well designed. However some of the colors, red and green, don't reallt fir. Maybe a blue would work better. That grey nav bar is a little dark, maybe lighten it up a little. Other than that, nice design.

Thanks for the input, guys
I've redesigned my site with much of your comments in mind. Frames are removed, content's been reorganized, and redesign has occurred.
In short, it's got a new look.More comments would be appreciated! SLeon is the first to comment on it and I will be adjusting colors soon, aye. Much thanks to everyone!

Nice Site.
I think that you use to many colors on your site. Maybe pick 2 or 3 and use them all around. with different shades and such. But the green on the black is ugly i think.
Pretty good amount of information
Interesting.

its a very nice personal site! The colours are i do like, the text was easy to read.
The navigation once i got deep into the site was a bit difficult. Mabe you could put that right navigation bar on ever page? Thant was the only problem i had!
The rest is fine and keep improving!Forums: Hardware Forums

I'm on win98 using IE% with javascript enabled. Oh and I'm at 800x600
Well normally I dont review personal sites because there... well personalBut I'll make an exception.
How about making a nice banner for your site? I can see endless possibilities with the site name you have used.
Maybe for the main part of your site, (I mean where your writing the info) try unbolding it (is that a word? well it is now) I found it a little hard to read.
The rest seems pretty cool. Happy blogging!

First of all, you have a black background, which is difficult to read your text on. IS everything in bold? It looks like it is, which makes things hard to read. Plus, you have your nav bar centered, which is a serious no no, because that makes things hard to read. Not to mention your color choices and lack of graphics give the page no flow to it.
Hope that helps!

hi
i agree with jigga concerning the centering of the menu on top left of the diary page. centering the items does make it harder to read. then there is the addition of the section sign. that does make it harder to read.
i like your use of the black background. the d&d nature of the site fits - and i have no problem with the text.
i like the selection of graphics. i also like the consistent use of the red granite background for the character discussion.
the use of the "last updated" is very good.
will you be using meta commands in your header?
i like your site!

Hi
This is one of the better personal sites I've come across.
All your text is bold, you page would look better if only the nav and some headings used bold. A black background doesn’t suit your site either, you would find it easier to make your site look better if you stuck with white.

My suggestions
Index should be on the left side.
second I think having the news page on a different page would be nicer. Use the main page for introduction only.
short and fast to load.

My first impression, you know the one that is most imprtant, there is too much bunched text on the page. More to come...

The colors look really well together and I like the black background. It makes everything stand out. I also like the layout and it was really easy to navigate.
