My sites get a relatively small but HIGHLY target stream of traffic, with quite a few page view per visitor.
Advertisers have recently started emailing me asking me for banner rates, and I don't know where to start as far as coming up with a figure.
Can anyone point me to a website or articles that can help with this.
I'm not looking to "make" any large amount of money off banners, but I don't want to sound like an idiot when I quot prices.
Thanks in advance!TheWeighWeWere.com - Weight Loss Success Stories from A to Z!

Well, the first thing you should determine BEFORE you decide on your exact prices are if you are going to offer advertising by CPM (most common), display time (sometimes used), or CPC (less often used). Obviously, the prices increase the more traffic you get. Take a look at some of your competitors or related sites and make competitive prices. Good luck!

http://adres.internet.com/
check there, they have info on ad rates. But the rates they get tend to be from big companies like about.com and also their sample rates are from the first 2 quarters of this year. But towards the end of the second one prices started dropping.
