    I vote for DWMX as well. Why? This has a lot to do with it.

    Also, eventhough DW has it's roots in the WYSIWYG world, it's a perfectly viable choice for a text-editor replacement. I used DWMX to hand-code my new site. It has excellent syntax coloring (better than ANY text-editor), code completetion for about a half-dozen languages. And, for the hand-coder OR WYSIWYG'er, DWMX let's you customize the HTML output of each tag, if you are so inclined. You can even tell DW which filetypes to NEVER auto edit, so it will never make a mockery of your cleanly typed HTML

    There are so many more cool things about DWMX I could list, it would take me an hour.

    I second Beetle's motion. Dreamweaver beats GoLive hands down. Not only does it produce better code, it's easier to work with and hit the ground running quickly.
