    hi.
I'm interested in creating a metasearch. Several search engines would sue you if you do not make a special arrangement with them.

However, some do not even care if you metasearch them. With the exception of dmoz, what are the S.E.s that allow people to metasearch them?

    thanks

I wouldn't count on any search engine not trying to sue you if you don't make licensing arrangements with them to use their search data. If you just sell the script but don't use it yourself, it would probably be ok as long as you didn't have any knowledge of anybody using it for illegal purposes. (See Vault v. Quaid) You should also tell people they need to make proper licensing arrangements with the search providers.

I actually have a metasearch program that I'm trying to sell the copyright to. Does anybody know if Ebay would work for something like that?
