It looks pretty good, but it does take a little bit to load. Maybe optimizing your graphics would help, but I don't know much about graphics.

Also, I would put a brief, 1 or 2 paragraph description on the front page so people know what to expect. Other than those pointers, I can't think of anything else I would do different. Keep up the good work!

Looks like you're off to a good start. I noted one thing that you'll want to fix (for consistency) as you add content. On the Tutorials page the words "BASICS" and "INTERMEDIATE" are in all caps, but "Advanced" is in initial caps. Make 'em all the same.

WOW! Those graphics look really nice. It's a bit hard to read the text on the very top navigation bar. Try using a lighter color for the text, or using an outline.

Just curious, what program did you use to make the graphics and what were your techniques?

I used Photoshop to create the graphics.
I'm currently putting the content together for the site. If I'm done I'll write a tutorial on how I created the interface. This will add up to some other Photoshop tutorials I've written and some 3D Studio MAX tutorials.

A lot of graphics, but I suppose it's only appropriate for the subject matter. I thought the deisign in general is pretty good. Even the frame did not bother me that much. Make sure there's no horizontal scroll bar in the framed page though, because I got one. Also, remember to define a background color in the framed page, since not all browsers defaults are the same. (I assumed on your comp it looks white, but on mine it's grey).
