What graphic crunchers do you use?
I'm considering lisencing the Spinwave software. Have any of you had any experince with them?

i use photoshop 6's "save for web" (i.e. imageready 2.0) and a lot of careful tweaking of the settings...
Fireworks MX does a very good job on this. (slicing and optimizing)

Definitely use "Save for Web" in Photoshop. Work with the settings and you can achieve some remarkably low file sizes without losing much clarity. I use it with the historical image archive I work with and I keep images easily below 60K and they still look great.
