    Heya,i need to do some fancy upper frame design...and in that i want to put some banners and some buttons...if anyone knows a good resource site pls tell me...

    agggh, you might want to reconsider using frames, they cause all sorts of problems.

    Well, perhaps. I like the "top bar" frame as long as it's not too big and is done correctly.

    See http://www.theorioles.com for a fine example of a site using frames that is still professional and useable.

    ::EDIT:: Sorry, TheOrioles.com seems to have changed their layout...it used to make use of a top frame - my bad! ::EDIT::

    Frames were discarded in favor of tables and now tables are being discarded in favor of style sheets.

    LOL...they can't make up their mind.

    Actually Ignite Media (http://www.ignitemedia.com) was hired on a contract basis to create sites for several MLB teams...I personally liked the old layout though, with a good use of frames and colors, and some very cool Flash.
