    Screenshot in Photo Impact

I have a client that uses Photo Impact and I need to tell him how to use it to make a screen shot. Does anyone have this program that can walk me through it? I've searched Google with no luck.

It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Hey Palmer. I use PhotoImpact 6 and I always use the method mentioned by naramation. Use the print screen button on the keyboard, and then open PhotoImpact, click on the Edit menu and drop down to the choice that says Paste as new image. It will paste the screen shot. Hope this helps. Here are some good resources for PhotoImpact users:

    Question

No problem. What version is the client using? There is a capture feature in PhotoImpact. If you hover over the buttons on the top toolbar there should be a Start/Stop Capture button. Click on that button. Then get the screen you want a shot of on your monitor. Press the F11 key it will open the screen shot in the workspace. The other way works just as well though if all you need is a full screen shot. I can walk you through the process of capturing selected areas and other ways to capture if needed. Let me know if more is needed. Sorry to be so long winded.
