Does anyone know of a really good Flash chat room
that is low cost or free.
I need a really cool one. One with smiley faces
& multiple chat rooms.

Well simleys will be tough to do, since I am pretty sure Flash text boxes do not support smilies. I will give up the source for this one and if you feel motivated enough I am sure it would be pretty easy to add support for multiple chat rooms.

I remember seeing an ASP/Flash chat room, that was free for non-commercial use, can't remember the name, but have a look on www.aspin.com they probably have a listing there.

you can ask this guy ... http://www.yavstr.com . I know hm, and he had a good enough flash based chat room which he was upgrading last time we chatted . Can't say about the prices though .

I use it for my sites that use chat rooms. It really is a great script. ASP and Flash based.

Seems a little slow. Probably because it uses http to transfer messages. I think a socket server is always gonna be better.
