I hope you can help. We suddenly find ourselves without a teckie and I am having to muddle through Frontpage. How do I insert meta tags in Frontpage without doing it directly in html? Insert, advanced, html?
Or if it's only possible to do it directly into the html, and someone please explain it to me VERY simply???
Sorry if this is a silly question and thanks in advance!
There is an easy way to do this in Frontpage. However, you can edit the code if needed. The easy way: Right click on the page you are working in, click Page Properties. Click on the Custom Tab. In the second box (User Variables) Click add. There you have the name & variable boxes. I'm not sure what META tags you are adding but if it's Keywords, then of course the word "keywords" would go in the Name box, and the keywords themselves would go in the variable box (seperated by commas).
I'm using Frontpage 2000. Not sure if this is the same on 97 or 98 versions.
I'm pretty sure its the same as well. While you're at it, ditch FrontPage's "identification" meta tags that let the whole world know what you're using.
