Question please: comment this tableless design and navigation

I would appreciate some feedback on this page I'm building.

It is my 3rd site without the table-layout-thing, and pure CSS.

I would like to have some comment on the look and also on the feeling of the left sub-navigation (click it)

It's just one page, tested in Mozilla 1+, IE 6+, Opera 7. Any comments about breaking apart in older browsers are also very welcome.

    thnx in advance

Nice job so far! The page is partly unreadable (overlapping text layers) with NS 4.03 and 4.7. You could avoid the problem by using @import rule when including your stylesheet. NS will not understand @import and thus does not use a stylesheet. A simple forum search should give you some tips.

Also, I think you could use a two-column layout instead of those three. Switch the left navigation bar to the right and use the whole left side for the text content (content in the left column, navigation + other links on the right). Just a suggestion

And since you are going with standards you should upgrade to XHTML 1.1.

    Thumbs up ok

thnx for the feedback itsyM, I will comply

As for the navigation, I need to make this design for a CMS, where users can edit the middle column and the right-nav. The left navigation and all of the Top DIVS can not be changed. This way I thought to keep it nicely seperated.

That is one of the nicest XHTML layouts I've seen in a while. You may also want to check out http://www.youngpup.net/ for some more inspiration.
