Cannot connect to FTP for long before it boots me off.

Hi folks,

Using filezilla, I'm trying to download files, after a few seconds I keep getting:

Status: Connection attempt failed with "ETIMEDOUT - Connection attempt timed out".
Error: Could not connect to server

Can someone please tell me how I can connect to the server long enough to download the files?

Does Filezilla need setting up a certain way?

Try going to the site manager entry->transfer settings-> switch active/passive
