    Photoshop touchup

I have a bunch of pictures that have the date stamp on them. Is there a tool in Photoshop that will allow you to take out the date stamp and fill in the holes with surrounding colors?

Also is there a tool for removing red eye?

    Thanks
    Jason

Which version of Photoshop do you have? If PS7 then I would try the healing brush first and if that doesn't work well then the rubber stamp. Versions prior to 7 will probably limit you to the rubber stamp or possibly the pattern stamp.

If the information directly under the timestamp isn't too important then you might just consider cropping it out. If the time stamp is in the same place on all the pictures then you could create a batch action that would crop out the timestamp automatically.

I'm using PS 6. I just found out about the clone stamp tool. It works OK, its just time consuming for the time stamps.

Can't crop out the date as taht would remove a good bit of the picture.

    Thanks

With 6 your gonna be limited to the clone tool. Date/time stamps have always driven me nuts and I have always turned them off.
