Wayne > Time to call on your legendary troubleshooting skills. I finally installed Win2000. When I shutdown the computer it crashes right before it turns off (ntoskrnl.exe dumps or something like that flashes right before it reboots). If I disable APM, the computer will stop at the "it is safe to shutoff your computer screen" but will not power off. Since it take a couple of minutes to shutdown it would be nice to have it turn off by its self (and be able to turn off the hard drive and monitor when idle.)

I imagine it is a problem with APM. I have the SP-1 and all updates from the Windows Update page. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks!
