linking to web cam

Hi,

I have a client who is starting a construction project on their building. They are considering doing a construction webcam on the site. Their IT person said he could maintain the camera on their site.

They forwarded a link to another site that is doing something similar. The site is:

I have never worked with anything like this before. Anyone know what the process is to do something like this? How to link to the video?

The camera will need to be connected to a server; of some sort.

I suspect a good search on "webcam server software" will yield a host of alternatives.
