Just wondering what everybody's favorite candy. I am sure there will be a wide variety. My favorite is Cadbury's Carmello. Carmello is the name of the candy, Cadbury is the company. It is a milk chocolate & creamy caramel bar.

As for the "cheap, everday" candy, it would be Peanut M&M's. As for the "expensive, quality" candy, it would be those chocalate, cherry-covered ones.

Dark Chocolate Non-Pareils or just plain Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips right out of the bag...

Fancy? Ghirardelli Square or See's Chocolate - dark chocolate of course - none of that hard candy for me!

I have never liked any expensive candy...the normal stuff is good though. I rarely have candy (maybe once a month) though.

Just buy a big box of Whitman Sampler chocolates.

Though I usually just eat Mars Bars, Snicker Bars, or just plain Cadbury dairy milk chocolate.

hmm...I think that Shock Tarts, Jolly Ranchers (original rectangular cubes, not that gummy stuff), Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and York patties top my list.

    I don't like candy...

Seriously, if I eat (too much) candy, I feel... strange...

That's the backdraw of being an alien...

    Hi,

My favourite candy is plain old Cadburys Dairy Milk but it has to be nice and hard. My sister brought me some very nice candy from America but I can't remember the name.

Well the easter Cadbury eggs, Jolly Ranchers, and Mounds have no competition. Period...

I also like Nabisco's new Cafe Creme cookies. Not oreos, though..

Ooooh yep, those cappuccino cookies are like the two best things put together.

While I was in Spain, I bought some kind of wafer cookies that had coconut in them, I dont remember the name, but they were in every store I went to. I stocked up on 'em before the flight, but ate all the cookies en route to the States.

I wish they'd bring out a similar type here! I did notice that some stores have started carrying those Toblerone candy bars from...Switzerland? Or Belgium. Wow those people can really make chocolate!

Why do Americans insist on calling chocolate 'Candy'? To us English folk candy infers a purely sugar base like 'candy-floss'. No offence intended just complete bafflement

My choice for a super-fattening, calorie-busting treat would be a Bounty or Fruit Pastilles or if you just can't decide a whole box of Milk Tray does the trick!

Anyone who loves chocolate should try http://www.gertrudehawk.com. It's a locally owned company (North East PA), and I'd put their chocolate in the "Pepsi Challenge" with Godiva anyday. They have these Peanut Butter & Chocolate Covered Pretzels that are to DIE FOR. Their chocolate/carmel and chocolate/peanut butter "smidgens" are amazing too.
