All that happens is that you end up with a t.co address going to a bit.ly address going to a real website, which just adds potential for weak links in the chain. Interestingly, one of the businesses has been posting a load of Youtube links but has used the full youtube.com URL, which has to be truncated, instead of Youtube's own shortened youtu.be URL, which would be displayed in full.
