    Netscape Equivalent to tagName

Does anybody know of a way to get the tag name of an object in Netscape version 4 or higher? Thanks…

Firstly, anything that works in NN4 may not work in NN6 (and vice versa) since they're completely different browsers.

[element].tagName appears to be part of the W3C DOM, so it should work in Netscape 6+ (It certainly works here in Mozilla 1.3 alpha)
