I was just wondering if anyone knows how you turn off the password prompt when Windows 98 starts up? I know it can be done, but I just can't remember how!
If you only have one password go into the Control Panel and change your password to an empty one.
If that doesn't work just delete the file with a pwl extension in the Windows directory. Warning doing this deletes all your passwords, even those stored by Internet Explorer.
first is to choose another log-in in network properties ... but in some networks (most) , you won't be able to connect to network then
another , there's a good program called AutoLogin , and it will log in for you ... if you won't be able to find it , just ICQ me 20553228 , and I'll give it to you ...
1. When Windows98 next prompts you for a password, type in your name and leave the password field empty.
2. Go to the Control Panel.
3. Click on Network.
4. On the "primary network login", make sure it is sat to "Windows Login".
