I have noticed on some web sites that in the status bar in Internet Explorer, where it tells you what page is loading and then reads “done” when the page has fully loaded, that they display messages about their page. How is this done?

Also, as I have a .com domain name, which has cloaked web redirection direct towards a free ISP, is there any way that I could further manipulate what the status bar displays, in term of the page it is loading?

I look forward to your comments,

    internationally

    Ok,

well I'm not sure if this is the one your after but I'll give it to ya anyway

When a user puts there mouse over your link and the link comes up in the status bar heres a script to make the status bar say what ever you want.

    <A HREF="page.html" OnMouseOut="window.status=''; return true" OnMouseOver="window.status='hey look at me'; return true">page</A>

Yes, thanks. Will that also be displayed when the page is loading? Or is there another code for this?

...and how about when the page has loaded?

I look forward to your comments
