    Image background and width 100%

    Hi all,

    Well I have one image that I use for the navigation and its set to the left 0px, its 478 px wide so I add another image positioned just right of that 478px left, so they appear as one which they do,and then I set the width to 100% in the css. Then the image flows off the page to the left an produces a scroll bar.

    Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

    Thanks wwright

    Actually I got it to work somewhat? I got rid of the scroll bar at the bottom, but if you view the page in a higher resolution, anything over 1280x960 the navigation image repeats and I have two sets of tabs. I put the background-repeat: no-repeat; in the css but I fugure it does not work on images. Is there anything I can do???

    See it in action Here
    Thanks, wwright

    Here is the css
    =======================

    body {

    margin-left:0px ;
    margin-right: 0px ;

    padding:0px;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    #navigation {

    position:absolute;
    top:0px ;
    left: 0px ;
    width: 50% ;
    height: 59px ;
    background: url(navbar.gif);

    }

    #filler {

    position:absolute;
    top:0px;
    left:50%;
    width:50%;
    height:59px;
    background: url(bar-ends.gif);

    }

    ================================
